Minecraft Reaches 12 million Sold On Xbox 360
Mojang's sandbox build-'em-up Minecraft remains a popular choice on the Xbox 360, surpassing 12 million units sold as of this month.

"I remember when we began talking about sales numbers , that we'd be thrilled to have sold 1 million copies. Mcprofile That would have put us on par with Battlefield 1943 and Castle Crashers, which both are great games which is why that was something we could aim for. We had never thought of selling 12,000,000!
In December 2012, Minecraft sold over 10 million copies. Mojang and 4J Studios, the development partner, will continue updating Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition in the coming months, with new content. This includes a Candy Texture Pack which will launch on April 18.
