Minecraft PS3 Update Added Blocky Skins from Uncharted, Heavy Rain, More

When the PlayStation Network is next updated, those playing Minecraft on the PlayStation 3 will find two new skin packs available to purchase. One features koalas and cavemen while the other is focused on the most popular characters of the PlayStation 3.

According to the PlayStation.blog, the Battle And Beasts skin pack will allow players to dress as cavemen, koala bears an ocotopus, or a particularly aggressive Cleopatra. Mcprofile The "Skin Pack 1" pack is aimed at "hardcore PlayStation gamers" and includes Minecraft versions of Uncharted lead Nathan Drake and Sly Cooper. It also includes "some Killzone dudes" and "folks of Heavy Rain". We'd like to be more specific on who exactly will be representing Heavy Rain and Killzone, however neither Sony nor Minecraft creator Mojang can provide more details.

The announcement does not mention the prices for the DLC skin packs. However loyal Sony fans will be happy to know that Skin Pack 1 is only available for the PlayStation 3 version of Minecraft. [Image: Mojang]
